I’ve Entered the Blogosphere!!!

Well, I finally did it!  I jumped on the “blogwagon” and this is the result!  My BH (Better Half) started his own blogs in order to track our adoption story and to highlight our various food experiences.  I had been thinking for several months of starting my own blog just to be cool like him (and to have something to do those evenings that he takes time to post) but I either didn’t feel motivated or just didn’t think I had anything worth blogging about.

 Well, since BH started his blogs I have found myself perusing the blog writings of perfect strangers.  I have learned that one can write about almost anything and everything.  I have come to read blogs written by friends,  ”Foodies”, adoptive parents, birth parents, adoptees, pastors, children, etc., etc., etc.  Through all these various blogs I have learned that I might in fact actually have something to share.

 Much like BH’s Adoption Blog I intend to write about my thoughts and feelings surrounding the plans to adopt our daughter.  However, I plan to focus more on the waiting and how I feel through each phase.  I also hope to share with you my thoughts surrounding all those other things I must wait for in life and those things that bring me joy, require patience, and for which I must have faith.  I can imagine I will experience all those things as I wait for Carmen.  I cannot imagine the unspeakable joy I will feel when I finally see her picture and then hold her in my arms.  I know I will need the patience of a saint to make it through the long wait.  AND I have faith that God will answer my prayers and will some day end my wait by uniting me and BH with the daughter He has chosen for us.  Until that time please humor me in my quest to be like so many other people out there as I post my thoughts for the “blogosphere”!
